Are we going forward or backward??
When I think of technology and where it is now these days, I wonder where it will be years a head. Ofcourse I donot imagine life will be as in "Avatar" movie but at least technology should facilitate ourlives more than it is now.Actually, what cuased me to think is the high spead of development in technology per a day.As a teacher I wish that all this revolution in technology is in the education saveside! My wish doesn't mean to neglect the role of the instructor in the classroom or in the institution, however; to ensure his role as important as the technology which is used in the class. My concern is whether the teacher will play a primary role or supplementary one!Ofcourse I donot wish teachers to disappeare from schools otherwise we will end up without jobs. On the other hand, I wish that teachers still keeping the great role of facilitating the learning process with the help of technology. I my self as a teacher will update my knowledge with the latest technology used and try to apply it in my school properly!
